Girl Scouts of Central Illinois proudly presents Diamonds, Desserts & Distinction, its signature fundraiser within the greater Champaign area. This is our seventh year of the current event and our 32nd in honoring Women of Distinction.
We look forward to gathering again amidst our Flora Gems Sweet Surprise Wall, delicious cookie-inspired desserts competition among local chefs, signature cookie-inspired cocktail, sincere recognition of our honorees, and more!
This year we will honor Illinois Coach Shauna Green as our Woman of Distinction. In two historic years, Coach Green has led the Illini to back-to-back winning seasons and postseason appearances; two AP Top-15 upsets; and the program's first championship. Thus, we so look forward to recognizing Coach Green as our 2024 Woman of Distinction. She epitomizes courage, confidence, and character for Girl Scouts to aspire toward as leaders.
