Camping is a great way for girls to explore leadership, build skills, and develop a deep appreciation for nature. Whether for a day, a week, or longer, whether in-person safe or virtually online, Girl Scout camp gives girls an opportunity to grow, explore, and have fun under the guidance of caring, trained adults.

Types of Summer Camp
Registration
Summer camp registration opens Wednesday, February 7 at 8:00 a.m. Many camp fill and close on opening day of registration, so don't wait!
Once registered you will receive a fonfirmation e-mail receipt. The email receipt will contain a link to the confirmation packet, which includes all paperwork that needs to be turned in during cam
Registration closes when the camp session is full or two weeks prior to the start of the session.
Deposit
A $25 per session non-refundable deposit is required for registration. Full payment is required upon registration if session is under $100. Cookie Dough/ Nutty Bucks may not be used for deposit.
Payment
All camp fees must be paid in full two weeks prior to the camp session. Payment is not accepted at camp. Campers carrying an outstanding balance 2 weeks prior to session will lose their spot and deposit.
Cookie Dough and/or Nutty Bucks must be sent in prior to, or with, the final payment. Cookie Dough/Nutty Bucks cannot be submitted for a cash refund or used as the initial deposit.
Refund Policy
If a session or event does not meet the minimum registration as of the deadline date, GSCI reserves the right to cancel. Notice will be made by email.
Deposits, extra fees, camper adventure care packages, and prepaid trading post account funds are non-refundable. A full refund, including deposit, is made only if a camper cannot be placed in a program or if it is necessary to cancel the program. No refunds will be made for campers arriving late, leaving early, attending only part of the program, for those who fail to attend, or for campers who violate camp policies and rules and are sent home.
Contact Customer Care at customercare@girlscouts-gsci.org or 1-888-623-1237 to obtain a Refund Request Form. After camp ends, partial refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis and only in the case of extenuating family circumstances or medical reasons supported by a doctor’s statement.
Accommodations
Campers needing accommodations for food allergies or special medical needs should contact the camp director prior to registering. We try to accommodate all campers’ needs.
Medical Records
All campers must submit a completed health history form signed by the parent/guardian and a complete vaccination record or official letter of exemption signed by a doctor. GSCI Camps follow the same requirements put forth by IDPH for public schools.
Overnight campers (3+ nights) must also have a physical completed within 24 months prior to the last day of the camp session. This may be the physician portion of the health history form or simply a copy of a recent physical.
Health Records will be collected at check-in and are kept confidential.
All medications must be turned in at check-in in their original packaging and instructions for administration must be included on the Health Record. Medications will be stored securely and administered by healthcare or trained administrative staff.
Friday Finale
Join us for the Friday Finale at camp each week. Meet your camper’s new friends and see skits and songs from the week. Exact time varies from camp to camp.
Trading Post
Campers can learn about budgeting and bring home camp keepsakes or pick up forgotten camp gear (water bottles, bandanas, etc.) with a visit to our Camp Trading Post during their time at camp. To keep all camper possessions secure, any cash, checks, or cookie dough must be deposited into the campers trading post account during the registration or check-in process.
Campers typically spend $15-$25 on souvenirs. If trading post money is added online during registration, any unused money will go into our camper financial assistance fund. Online funds are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another week of camp.
Camp Adventure Care Package
Order a care package for your camper to receive while at camp! For $35, the care package will include a special gift for your camper, complete with a personalized message. Quantities are limited, so order early! Orders must be received at least two weeks prior to the camp session.
Badge Work
Activities coordinate with Girl Scout Journeys and badges. Badges are not included; earned badges may be purchased at your local service center. You will receive a badge sheet at the end of camp with the badge steps completed. Additional steps may have to be completed at home.
Buddy Requests
Overnight campers may request ONE buddy upon registration. Buddies will be placed in the same tent/cabin and will be buddies for as many activities as possible. However, they may not be buddies for all activities depending on group size, dynamics, and schedule.
Day campers will be in age-level groups (no buddy requests).
Cell Phones/Electronics
Cell phones/electronic devices are not allowed. We encourage families to send mail, care packages, and one-way e-mail to their campers.
We encourage parents to call and speak to the camp director about their camper at any time. In case of emergency or if warranted for any reason, parents/guardians/emergency contact person will be contacted.
Changes in Activities
Our camps are girl-led so the girls help plan activities. Activities may be modified or rescheduled depending on weather, group behavior, or available materials.
Counselor/Camper Ratio
Camper-counselor ratios will be met at all camps. Visit GetYourGirlPower.org for ratios. All counselors use a camp name while at camp.
Meals/Snacks
Day Campers at Camp Kiwanis and Quincy Community Day Camp must bring a sack lunch daily. Day Campers at Camp Widjiwagan will receive lunch in the dining hall each day. Campers at Camp Kiwanis and Quincy Community Day camp are provided with snacks only.
Overnight campers receive all meals and snacks. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided at all camps.
We do our best to accommodate all allergies and dietary restrictions. We ask that you contact the camp director to discuss any food allergies or accommodations a minimum of two weeks before arrival at camp so we are sure to be prepared!
Facilities
Campers stay in rustic units that are tucked into the woods and typically consist of 6-10 open-air platform tents or 4 rustic cabins. Tents are situated on wooden decks on the ground and are approximately 12’ x 14’ with weather-treated canvas sides and roofs. Each tent contains four sleeping cots with mattresses and each cabin contains 10 sleeping cots with mattresses. One rustic unit house that sleeps up to 24 will be used for some summer sessions at Camp Tapawingo.
All of our facilities have a shower house. Security lighting is located throughout camp.
Before and after care for day camp is available at Camp Kiwanis and Camp Widjiwagan for an additional fee of $25 per week.
Before and after care is available at no additional fee for Quincy Community Day Camp.
Before care is from 7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. After care is from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.
During the ever-evolving pandemic, summer camp is more beneficial than ever. The safety of our campers, staff, and volunteers is paramount. Based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the American Camp Association, and our local and state health departments, we have a proactive plan in place to keep camp as safe as possible. We will continue to have as many activities outdoors as possible, and will have increased handwashing and sanitizing procedures. As summer camp gets closer, we will review the CDC, American Camp Association, and local and state health department guidelines at that time and update our practices as necessary. We will share this information with caregivers before and during summer camp.
GSCI offers camp scholarships for campers attending summer camp. When you register your girl it will ask you if you want to apply for the camp scholarship. Once you check yes there will be a a form to complete. The application is reviewed, and you are contacted as to acceptance and the amount of scholarship awarded.

Make a splash at Camp Kiwanis! This will be a whole week of competitions involving the wonders of water that will test your muscles, brains, and creativity. We’ll take a break from all the games for a field trip to a local water park. After all the points have been tallied, we’ll present the Kiwanis Cup for the second time ever. Don’t miss out on the chance to make your splash and have your name displayed on the trophy all year round!

Animal Adventure: New Leaf

Start the week with day camp and end the week with overnight camp. This session is ideal for firsttime or inexperienced overnight campers. Make lifelong friends and enjoy boating, swimming, songs and games. Create some late night campfire treats and your own trail mix for a hike. Pack your sleeping bag and swimsuit, we’ll meet you at camp!
On Monday and Tuesday, campers can be dropped off between 7:30-9am and picked up between 4-5:30pm. On Wednesday, campers can be dropped off to stay overnight and picked up on Friday. Campers will be split into age-level groups and sleep in platform tents or cabins.

Spend three days in a world of pink! Spend three days with a bow and arrow in your hands, hanging out at the archery range and perfecting your shot. Create your own targets, play archery games, and top off your week with an archery tournament to determine the archer champion. There will also be plenty of time to go swimming, boating, and make camp crafts.

Don’t have much time for camp this summer? Don’t worry - you can still join other teens for an actionpacked mini overnight camp! We’ll work through the low teams course together, then head up to the 20 and 40 foot challenge course. We’ll explore the ravine with a map and compass in hand. Try your hand at archery one morning, then relax at the pool or enjoy some late night campfire treats!

Come meet the miniature herd we have at Camp Tapawingo, which includes horses, donkeys, and even a mule, during this three-day mini overnight camp! You will learn what exactly makes miniatures so special. Once you’ve learned all there is to know about minis, it’s time to saddle up and ride our regular sized horses and ponies. After your time at the barn is up, enjoy camp songs, games, and swimming.

It’s party time…pony style! Let’s celebrate our equine friends with some pony pampering. Learn how to properly groom a horse which not only makes them look good, but helps them feel good, too. Let’s continue to make our horses feel special as we learn how to make horse safe treats. Round out the pony party, by playing games on horseback. The party doesn’t have to stop at the barn. Spend some time splashing around at the pool before staying up late dancing the night away at a colorful dance party!
Broadway Blast

Do you have dreams of becoming the next big actress, theater techie or a dancer on Broadway? See what it takes to make it big under the bright lights as you play improv games, make costumes, and try on stage makeup. Whether you prefer to take the spotlight or ensure the show will go on from backstage, you’ll work together to write and perform a one-of-a-kind production for the whole camp.
Creature Quest

Entering grades 4-6
Learn all about animals during camp this week. Make an animal-themed trail mix to snack on while hiking trails and looking for animal tracks. Pull on some boots for a pond study to search for frogs, turtles, and fish. Head to the barn to learn about horses and while you’re there meet some of our feathered friends. Plan a creature-filled slumber party in the lodge; and make your own stuffed animal. We will also go on an adventure to Wildlife Prairie Park to explore and see what animals we can spot. When you’re done monkeying around, jump into the pool for a swim, try out archery and stay up late making campfire treats.

Mermaids

Entering grades 2-3
Calling all mermaids! Swim everyday, then trade your fins for feet so you can slip ‘n slide, toss water balloons and become a shaving cream bunny. Make some mermaid-inspired art and snacks. Learn about how animals move in the water while working on your Wonders of Water Journey. Enjoy the magic of camp in and out of the water!
Dabblers
June 16 - June 21
Entering grades 4-6
Dabble into a little bit of everything camp has to offer! Enjoy the water as you play games in the pool, explore the ravine and even grab a paddle as you climb into a canoe on Lake Nib. Spend a little time at the barn learning about horses while grooming and also riding! Test your aim at the archery range. Take to new heights on the climbing wall and make a colorful mess while you tie-dye! Finish up the week by staying up late cooking sweet treats over the fire and go on a glow-stick night hike before you sleep under the stars.
Trailblazers
June 16 - June 21
Entering grades 6-8
Develop backpacking and survival skills this week. Sleep in the comfort of a platform tent your first night at camp; then pack gear and food for the week and explore the far reaches of camp at Big Sky and beyond. You’ll practice putting up tents, cooking meals over a fire, and finding your way with a map and compass. Bond with your counselors and fellow campers as you play team building games and explore camp at night. Return in time for an amazing dinner, closing campfire, and the tradition of Trail Spa Night in the lodge.
Please note: Due to the extreme nature of this program, participants must have attended overnight camp at least once prior to this session, or have camp director approval. Personal outdoor equipment (mess kit, backpacking pack, sleeping bag and pad, etc.) is highly encouraged. The camp has a limited supply of the outdoor equipment if needed. Weather conditions and skill level of the campers will affect the level of extreme that is possible, so come ready for anything!

Experience all the fun of a traditional camping session in a whole new way. Stay up late every night and sleep in each morning so you can explore wonders of the natural nocturnal world. If you love the sparkle of pixie dust, then come discover the magic and wonder of the Camp Tapawingo fairies. Make magic wands, fairy lanterns, and even create your very own fairy garden you can take home! Then pack a snack and hike the trails looking for our fairy friends. Bring your favorite fairy costume so we can see you dressed in your very fairy best at a garden tea party with your new friends!

Wizarding 101
July 7 - July 12
Entering grades 4-6
Calling all wizards! Grab your spell book and broom and get ready for a magical week at camp. Once you are sorted into your houses you’ll be ready to make your own wand, brew potions, and compete in a quidditch game. You’ll hunt for horocruxes and even make your own Maurader’s Map.
Major Messiness
July 7 - July 12
Entering grades 6-8
Ingredients: • 16 Cadette campers • 2 cabins • 2 camp counselors • 8 cans of shaving cream • 2-4 days of mud, leaves, and sticks • 1 jar of paint in every color, with glitter • 6 days of old clothes • 1 dozen eggs • 4 cans of alphabet soup • A little bit of soap. Mix together campers, cabins, and counselors at Camp Tapawingo. Add in remaining ingredients as desired and combine with crazy ideas, silly games, and late-night snacks. Guaranteed to result in a major mess!

Goo & Slime
July 14 - July 19
Entering grades 2-3
If getting dirty and making colorful creations is your thing, you’ll love this messy and silly camp! We’ll make goo, slime, sticky snacks, bright tie-dye and even paint with our toes. Toss on your oldest clothes as we go on a scavenger hunt and wild walk which will leave us covered in mud. When you’re ready to get cleaned up, jump into the pool and splash around with your new friends!

Messy Madness
July 14 - July 19
Entering grades 4-6
Ready for something a little wild and crazy? Pack your oldest clothes to create all the messy fun you can imagine! Stomp around the muddy creek and woods on a scavenger hunt, break out the face paint for a messy makeover complete with a wacky hair contest, then get covered from head to toe in shaving cream before rinsing off on a paint covered slip ‘n slide. All you need is a sense of adventure and a little soap to get clean at the end of the week

This week is for the night-loving teen who likes to stay up late and sleep in. We’ll create funky glowin-the-dark art projects, go stargazing and take night hikes to see who is still up with us. Become a camp superstar and take center stage! Learn dance moves to go along with your favorite music, design your own costumes, play acting games, and create a skit to perform during the closing campfire. Enjoy a dramatic slumber party complete with popcorn, movies, and make-overs.
Trekkers

Entering grades 4-6
Explore camp by camping in a new place every night. Enjoy a private pool party and sleep under the stars. Then head out for a night of camping at Big Sky after spending time at the archery range. Finally, it’s off to a spa and movie night in the lodge. When you aren’t packing for your next move or setting up your tent, you’ll have plenty of time to go swimming, paddle a canoe around Lake Nib, learn some new outdoor cooking skills, and play goofy games with your counselors and friends.
Not for first time campers, campers are encouraged to have attended at least ONE prior overnight camp. Sleeping pads and backpacking packs are welcomed but not required as camp can provide.
Treasurers and Trails

Entering grades 6-8
Oh no! Your ship has wrecked and the closest land is the deserted Tapawingo Island. Spend the week trying to survive! Gather your bravery to attempt the challenging 20ft and 40ft high ropes course to make it off the wreckage of your boat. Do a tip test in a canoe in an attempt to leave the island. Search the trails of Tapawingo looking for food to cook over a fire. Build a shelter to sleep in for a night from the few supplies you grabbed from the sinking ship and what you find on the island. Finish the week by searching for treasure that’s rumored to be buried deep in the woods on the Island of Tapawingo.

Stretch your creative side and experiment with fun and unique forms of art and self-expression during this week at camp. Design and sketch a giant chalk mural, paint funky neon portraits on canvas, and create a camp comic book with your fellow campers. Explore unusual ways to make jewelry and play around with fashion design with surprising outcomes. When you’re ready to put the brushes down, there’s plenty of time to hang out at the pool, take a canoe for a spin, and stay up until midnight making colorful campfire snacks.
Councelors in Training II (CIT II)

Entering grades 11-12
If you love everything about camp and would love to become a member of the camp staff one day, CIT II will set you on the path to realizing your dream. Choose your own focus area such as horses, aquatics, or outdoor skills. Learn, work, and grow side-by-side with the experienced camp staff. After you complete the training and planning session, return to camp for up to two apprenticeship weeks.

If you love working with younger campers and hanging out with fellow teen Girl Scouts at camp, you’ll love this session! You’ll spend the first week improving your camping and leadership skills and observing the counselors in action as you begin the Sisterhood Journey. Week one will feature training and during week two you’ll be paired with a unit to lead daily camp activities. As a CIT, you’ll have plenty of time to stay up late making mid-night grilled cheeses and playing goofy games. You’ll receive your CIT pin in a private ceremony your last night at camp.
Prerequisite: Participants must submit a Teen Leadership Application, including a lesson plan for a unique sample camp activity and one reference letter. After your application has been approved, you will receive a link to register. Campers will go home for the weekend.
Leaders in Training (LIT)

Entering grades 6-8
Develop your leadership style at this one-week camp. Endure challenging team games and conquer the low rope teams course. Spend an afternoon shadowing, interviewing, and learning tricks of the trade from the camp staff. Work with your fellow LITs as you make memories for the younger campers. With the support of your counselors and new friends, you’ll work on the aMaze Journey, setting a positive example for the younger campers.
Camp Fury - Camp Kiwanis - FULL

Entering grades 9-12
At Camp Fury, you will join the ranks of firefighters and law enforcement personnel to learn how they ensure public safety for our communities. In this overnight experience you will practice search and rescue skills, learn about crime scenes, repel from buildings, learn handcuffing techniques, self defense skills, and perform hose drills. Participants will be surrounded by females that hold titles within Fire, EMS, and Police Services. At the end of camp, we will celebrate your accomplishments at a graduation ceremony with family and friends.
Must be 14 years old at time of camp. Camp check-in will be at 9:30am on Tuesday and camp will conclude with an 11am graduation ceremony on Saturday.

Think you’re ready to hit the trails on horseback? First, learn about the importance of emergency dismounts and leg ups as a few hours each day at the barn will be spent with your two and four legged friends mastering the basics in trail safety and the fun of trail riding. When you are out on the trails, keep an eye out for some of the wildlife that calls Tapawingo their home. You’re bound to see something! Don’t worry, there will be plenty of time to splash in the pool, make new camp friends and even hike around camp on foot. It’ll be “trail-tastic”!

Saddle Switch Up
June 9 - June 14
Entering grades 7-12
Interested to find out what type of saddle you might prefer? Experience a week of riding in which half your time is spent in a Western saddle while the other half is spent in an English one. Discover all the differences and uses of English tack versus Western, and some of the riding disciplines you might do in each saddle. Once your boots are off for the day, enjoy some traditional camp activities as you splash around the pool, cook out around the campfire, and learn new camp songs.
Camper should at least be comfortable at a walk without assistance. Trot experience is also preferred.
Paddle n' Saddle
June 16 - June 21
Entering grades 4-6
You don’t have to choose between boating and horseback riding — you can do both! Take to the water in your canoe, learning a variety of paddle strokes at Camp Tapawingo, then pack up to spend a night at Camp Widjiwagan to paddle around Lake Springfield. When you’re not out on the water, time to saddle up! You’ll also get a chance to spend 3 afternoons at the barn. Learn to groom, tack up, and go for a ride. After you’re done with your paddle and saddle for the day, jump into the pool and cool off with your friends. Now that’s the best of both worlds!

Split your time this week between some of the best spots at camp! At the barn, ride in the arena learning basic horsemanship skills and safety. At the archery range, learn terminology, good form, and work to perfect your shot! Whether there’s a bow in your hand or boots on your feet, you’ll spend time learning the ins and outs of becoming an archer and gaining confidence in the saddle. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of time to hang out at the pool, relax around the campfire, and make friendship bracelets

Not sure if you’d rather spend your time at camp swimming like a sea horse or riding on horseback? How about both!? Each day at the barn learn the basics of horse care while you groom, tack up and ride with your camp friends. You’ll even get to make your very own pool noodle sea horse to take home! Horses can’t go in our pool, but we can bring the water fun to them. Help one of our horses beat the heat by giving it a bath. Once you’re done pampering your horsey friends, it’s your turn to cool off by splashing around in the pool. When your time at the barn is over for the day, enjoy learning camp songs and games, making crafts with friends, and campfires.

Level 3: Yearling (Progressive Equestrian Camp)
June 23 - June 28
Entering grades 6-7
Spend some time reviewing what was covered in Level 2: Weanling before unlocking the secrets of exceptional horse care and deepen your bond with your equine friend. As you learn about emergency first aid, costs associated with horse ownership, and the importance of a positive partnership to ensure a safe riding experience, your connection with horses will continue to grow, as will your skills. Upon completion of this program, make sure to come back again next year for Level 4: Filly to further your equestrian knowledge. There will be lots of time for other traditional camp activities as well while you are here.
Prerequisite: Completion of Level 2: Weanling or approval from the Equestrian Manager. This is part of the Progressive Equestrian Camp program, allowing campers to hone in on various skills and responsibilities year after year while sticking with riders that are similar in riding knowledge and experience.
Hoofin' It

Entering grades 6-8
In the horse industry, the term “no hoof, no horse” is something all equestrians should be familiar with. If you’ve never heard this saying before, here’s your chance to learn all about it. You’re invited to spend time at the barn learning about the importance of hoof care. By the time the week is finished you will know how often a horse needs its feet trimmed, who trims a horse’s hooves (with a special visit by that individual), and what happens if you weren’t to take care of their feet. You can be sure that time will also be spent in the saddle, riding and having fun. When you’re not at the barn with the horses, cool off at the pool, get cozy around a campfire, and enjoy many other camp activities.

Are you ready to take your trail riding adventures up a notch!? Explore the trails running throughout Camp Tapawingo’s 640 acres of woods and wide open fields via horseback for a bit each day…doesn’t get much better than that! Assess trail situations, master obstacles out on the trail, and even go for a mounted scavenger hunt in the woods. After you’ve untacked for the day, kick off your boots and try to become a master of some of the other activities that camp has to offer such as swimming, archery, canoeing, hiking, and cookouts.
Camper is required to have attended a previous trail riding equestrian summer camp or has been on multiple (3-5+) trail rides before.

Ropes n' Reins

Jump in for a week of excitement with some camper favorites—horses and heights! Improve your riding skills on horseback as you use your reins to guide your horse through challenging arena games and obstacle courses. After spending some time at the barn, hang up your reins and head to the ropes course. Navigate your way through the Spaghetti Walk, Cargo Tube, Earthquake, and the Hourglass obstacles while suspended 20ft in the air. When you make your way back down to the ground spend some time with your new friends working through team building challenges on the low ropes course. And in case you were wondering, there will be lots of time to relax around the pool!
Camper is required to have previously attended equestrian camp and should be comfortable with heights.
Wild West

Yee-haw! Welcome to the Wild West. Put on your boots and barn hat as you look toward the horizon for some awesome Western-themed activities and crafts. You’ll even have a chance to practice roping a mock steer. Once you’ve hung up your hat for the day, it’s time for some more fun. Head down to the creek to pan for some “gold.” There will also be plenty of time for swimming, singing, s’mores, and good ol’ storytelling and skits around the campfire. So saddle up for a week in the West that you soon won’t forget!

Get ready to hit Tapawingo’s trails! Spend some time in the arena brushing up on your riding skills before heading out into the woods on horseback. Have fun with your camp friends and favorite four-legged riding partners as you spend a few hours each day at the barn and on the trails. Dive into trail riding safety, emergency dismounts, and leg ups. Enjoy your time spent in the woods and be on the lookout for deer, turkey, and other wildlife as you might get lucky enough to spot some on your trail ride. Of course there will also be plenty of time for swimming, campfires, and archery.
Camper is required to have attended a previous trail riding equestrian summer camp or has been on multiple (3-5+) trail rides before.
Travel Trail
July 14 - July 19
Entering grades 7-12
Do you have experience backpacking and are ready for an adventure beyond council boundaries? Pack your pack and hit the road as you learn more about camping skills, outdoor cooking, backpacking, and develop your communication skills as you problemsolve in the outdoors as a team. Join us for an adventure to Manistee National Forest and hike the Manistee River Trail with your boots and backpack! Head back to Tapawingo on Thursday in time for dinner in the dining hall, closing campfire and the Traditional Trail Spa night in the lodge.
Prerequisite: Due to the extreme nature of this program, participants must have attended Trailblazers or have previous backpacking experience and have camp directors approval. Personal outdoor equipment (mess kit, backpacking pack, sleeping bag and pad, etc.) is highly encouraged. The camp has a limited supply of the outdoor equipment if needed.

Calling all Girl Scout friends and families! Close out the most fun week of camp with a dive-in movie night. Enjoy concessions, swimming, yard games, and a Girl Scout pop-up shop for all of your leftover cookie dough. Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy a beautiful evening at camp with family-friendly films for all ages. It’s going to be a whale of a time.

Dads and Dudes Campout

The boys are back in town! Bring your favorite gentlemen family members to Camp Widjiwagan for a weekend of gritty outdoor fun. Cast out a line on Lake Springfield and see who lands the biggest catch. Head down to the archery range for a little friendly competition and pitch your tent under the stars. Show off your biggest cannonball at Camp Widjiwagan’s pool and take to the lake with a latenight glowing canoe ride. Dinner and breakfast included!
All levels will receive a fun patch.
Cinema Under the Stars

Entering grades 1-12 and adults
Join us at Camp Tapawingo to spend the night under the stars! Start this overnight adventure with a few of camp’s classic crafts like tie dye. Then go for a sunset hike around camp. Once the sun goes we will enjoy an outdoor movie under the stars. Don’t stay up too late! The next day will be action packed with archery, rock climbing, swimming and a cookout lunch before you leave.
Please eat before you arrive on Friday. An evening snack on Friday along with breakfast and lunch on Saturday are included. Saturday activities-age levels of participants and staff available will determine what activities can be safely offered.

There is also a fun jumping pad, trails to hike, fishing, and so much more to enjoy, You may even meet Yogi or one of his friends! Bring the entire family for this fun-filled day. You may bring a sack lunch, or enjoy the convenience of the snack bar and concession stand.

Join us for Girl Scout Day at the Ballpark and spend the day at Busch Stadium cheering on the Cardinals - or the Cubs - with your fellow Girl Scouts! Every Girl Scout who registers will be entered into a drawing to throw out the first pitch of the game. Prior to the game, Girl Scouts will be able to march on the playing field. Troops and families are welcome!

Girl Scout Day at the Fair

Welcome to Girl Scout Day at the Fair! Make sure to wear your vest/sash or a t-shirt showing you are a Girl Scout to get into the fair for free on their Scout Day. Once inside, you will have access to all the fun and food the fair has to offer. The first 100 girls to register will receive a customized fair patch! The Girl Scout tent will be set up from 12-3pm just outside of the midway. We will be offering discounted ride armbands, fair patch pickup and a fun activity.
